Ecobuild 3-5 March 2009: Renew Commercial Attraction

GIA, GIA Equation, WISH London, Cameron Black and Charterhouse Energy designed, project managed and hosted the Renew Commercial Attraction at Ecobuild (3-5 March 2009). Attracting 26 000 property professionals, this annual event is the biggest showcase of sustainable construction products and services in the UK.
The Renew Commercial Attraction was set around a typical London city centre office scenario. Visitors to the attraction journeyed through the key elements of an economically viable and sustainable refurbishment project: the built fabric, building services, lighting design, daylight design and the interior fit out. The stand demonstrated the practical and imaginative solutions available, to deliver an energy-efficient office refit that wouldn't compromise on design.
Thank you to all those who visited us at Ecobuild; we've received fantastic feedback and are delighted the attraction provided such a constructive insight into sustainable refurbishment.
Hothouse seminars, London, Liverpool, Birmingham

Jerome Webb, Head of Daylight Design at GIA has been invited to speak at a series of one day Hothouse seminars organised by Building Design. The seminars aim to help small businesses overcome the challenges of working in an increasingly competitive market by developing the skills to stand out from the crowd.
The first seminar is taking place at the Building Centre in London on Wednesday 29th October. There are two further dates to follow in Liverpool and Birmingham - details to follow shortly.
