Despite busy lives, we are serious about social and community responsibility.

At GIA we provide opportunities for everyone who works with us to be involved in charity or community projects and, to date, we’ve done some phenomenal work!

Our choice of where to use our skills and interests is influenced by the community around us.  And we’re not afraid to get our hands dirty when projects require hard physical labour!

GIA have a charity committee of staff who help promote charity work and fund-raising activities in the office. However the whole company is involved in choosing a new charity for the company to support for the coming year by voting on a shortlist chosen by the committee.

  • We regularly cook breakfasts and have cake sales in the office to raise money for our chosen charity.

  • A team ran up the Gherkin to raise money for the NSPCC

  • We've planted trees, cleared gardens and painted fences for the National Trust

  • Provided job skills days and interview practice for Fairbridge

  • Held ‘walk to work’ days in order to raise funds for Microloan microfinance services in Africa

  • Helped organise and run a Christmas party for a local homeless charity
