Working at GIA

We work together in an open-plan environment where there are no private offices, so that communication is open, easy and informal between everyone.

We seek to offer the very best that we can in our workplace, through both innovative and more traditional means. We have beautiful décor, high tech lighting, the largest private coral fish tank in the UK, modern architecture mixed with photos of beautiful landscapes, and open spaces for people to relax. We believe that anything that feels natural and uplifting brings greater well-being and productivity.

Our approach to staff

We believe that removing personal limits is essential to realising talent and preventing stagnancy and habitual practices. Give your heart to your role and we will offer unconditional support to you. Working together to help each individual grow lies at the heart of our ethos, motivating staff to achieve both personal and business goals. Sometimes this means a change of role to support their on-going development and we try hard to accommodate this wherever practical for the business. We also actively encourage contribution of ideas on whatever topic to the company's development from everyone, regardless of their age or seniority.

Experience

Qualifications can reflect academic achievements and of course there are some which are necessary to work at GIA but good character, natural talent and vision is what we really look for. Enthusiasm, honesty, clarity and humour are easy qualities to direct and train in our areas of expertise. Remembering that the conduct of one speaks for us all is fundamental and this applies to the quality of our actions, speech and professional work. This is entirely reflected in our staff today and the appreciation we feel for them.
